Let the foraged flower cordial making finally begin!

Finally, 300 miles south of my normal residence, I've foraged some elderflowers for cordial making. The syrups cooling as I type ready to dook said flowers for a swim.

1lb sugar to one pint water, 10-15 flowers (shaken of beasties) will infuse in this syrupy mix with a lemon for 24-48 hours. Strain and bottle add a pinch if citric acid if required to taste.

Yum.

We've not done any this year...which I'm cross about as I did intend to.

    1. I'd never made my own until a fellow blogger mentioned how easy it was, now I don't think Mr F would forgive me if I slacked on it!
