Five good things about living by the sea.
No point in brushing your hair. Ever.
Views are immense and ever changing. Brain totally engaged.
Always plenty sand in your bed at the end of the night. Excellent exfoliant.
You're appetite is epic (and you never feel guilty). Awesome
You feel alive - even when you've done. HUGE days work/commute and you're still happy to walk. There's not much wrong with that statement.
Needless to say - the new house will have easy access to beaches. Just saying."
(I don't have, nor wish to have, easy access to a hairbrush). Although I borrow one for interviews (honest injun).
Well, that's one pressie idea off the house-warming gift list, eh?
ReplyDeleteThank you I don't like to own a beach, merely borrow one. Unless you mean a hairbrush - satans tool.
DeleteFingers were invented before forks - goes the phrase. Were they not also invented before hairbrushes?
ReplyDeleteNew house = near beaches - definitely vital. ;-) xx
Good point although I promise I detangled for interviews.
DeleteAnd new house - near beach - vital yes!
All so true - though I sometimes have immense difficulty in getting the hair band out of my hair at night, everything gets so tangled. Do you have a moving date?
ReplyDeleteAllegedly all going to plan the end of May.
DeleteUm, actually End of May whether plans work or not.
:)
I invest in hats and wedge hair into them - but bobbles also are generally involved in some kind of stranglehold on my follicles I think this is why I have thick hair = for every 3 pulled out by hair bobble, ripped out by wind, 6 more appear.
this makes me want to go google "cheapest place to live at the beach" and start packing! because I think you're right. the immensity of the sea keeps our little selves in proper perspective.
ReplyDeleteThe immensity of it and the power always keeps me thinking 'wow'. Nature is inspiring and you're right it gives perspective. I've found though, living just a few miles inland costs less :)
