After alot of talk about talking, laughing, joking, cooking, writing on the kitchen table - I thought I'd give you a look at mine.

What about you what do you get up to at yours?

  3. Diane - I have been into Tims gallery - wonderful artist! Janet I'll give it another go then probably ask for help!! (The flour is wrapped)

Jacqui - table not often clear here either, this one is the smallest one of 3 main tables in the house. The bigger they are the more clutter!

  4. Ps I love the table cloth we got it at a european market here - the last bit on the roll - wipeable - and gorgeous. I love functional things which are pretty - makes me smile!

  5. Candle is a rechargable candle light - safe and easy to use over and over again - put on at night to get the cheaper electricity

  6. I have a similar cloth, but with bright yellow lemons all over, always makes me smile. Not currently on a table though, packed in one of our many boxes. Candle light is an excellent idea! Out kitchen table is small, round, glass, and always covered in "stuff", from the MP3 player and things that need to go out to the garage to rising bread dough and - soon - Christmas cake ready to be fed with more brandy... I dream of a kitchen with room for a large battered table which will also be covered in stuff but will also accommodate playing cards, drinking tea, sorting seeds...

  7. In the words of Monica in friends - 'I know!' great isn't it - I can be unmodest as it wasn't my idea - my partners - whilst willows are a part of my work life at the moment, wellies are a part of everyday life. Thank you!
